The Miss Community Clovia & Alexander Lance Booker Child Safety Foundation Send-A-Kid to Camp radiothon works to give local youth a meaningful summer day camp experience. Children and teens enrolled in the camp are immersed in fun activities each day that include art and cultural enrichment, health and physical education, science and environmental education, and personal and social development as well as field trips. Donations from the Diamond Anniversary radiothon are used to provide scholarships for those who need them. It is part of our promise to make camp available and affordable for all children in Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland.

The annual ALB Child Safety Foundation Send-A-Kid to camp radiothon is honored to have the support of Radio One Inc and area parks and recreation departments.

Kimberly Jones-Booker and Clovia Lawrence want to keep our children in a safe, structured and fun environment all summer. Learn more about the Alexander Lance Booker Child Safety Foundation.
