Our housing initiative began as a collaboration with the Virginia Department of Corrections. We named our Housing initiative Clo’s House as an homage to our energetic co-founder and Executive Director, Clovia Lawrence. The primary purpose and objective of Clo’s House is to provide emergency, transitional, and permanent housing to our returning citizens in a caring and compassionate environment.  However, we have since expanded our housing services to include homeless members of our community in order to help abate the homelessness crisis in the City of Richmond.

Since the establishment of the first Clo’s House in February 2017 with just three beds, we have grown to a capacity of over twenty beds, and our capacity is growing every quarter. We have housed more than one hundred men since our inception in 2017 on both short and long term bases.
